Mark is al 30 jaar hotelier in Zuidoost-Azië en is al 28 jaar herstellende. Samen met Bill O'Leary is Mark toegewijd aan het samenbrengen van gastvrijheid en langdurig herstel voor alle gasten van Miracles Asia.

De droom van Mark en Bill is om een klein privéhotel op maat te hebben met professionele gekwalificeerde teams, die counseling en zorg leveren van mensen die zelf aan het herstellen zijn, met behulp van de nieuwste op bewijs gebaseerde therapie.

Mark is gepassioneerd over het ondersteunen van zijn gasten en hij beheert Miracles op een dagelijkse basis. Mark is altijd beschikbaar voor gasten en neemt actief deel aan de dagelijkse leiding van het programma.

Born and raised in Phuket, Thailand, Tim brings an international and empathetic perspective to his work at Miracles Asia. A citizen of Thailand and Australia, he is fluent in Thai and profoundly connected to the region both culturally and professionally.

 Tim's own journey has instilled in him a deep understanding and unwavering commitment to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of addiction.

Prior to co-founding Miracles Asia, Tim was an investment analyst with Navis Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm in the Asia-Pacific region. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Chapman University in Southern California.

Now based in San Francisco, he leads the U.S. operations, ensuring American clients receive seamless support — from their first inquiry to their transition home after treatment in Thailand.

Max komt oorspronkelijk uit Duitsland en groeide op in Spanje. Hij begon zijn carrière in de horeca, waar hij zijn vaardigheden op het gebied van klantenservice en management aanscherpte in tophotels als het Radisson SAS in Wenen en Hotel Sacher.

In 2014 stapte Max over naar verslavingszorg en werkte hij als therapeutisch ondersteuner en drugs- en alcoholmanager in Australië.

Max is gediplomeerd in Counseling, Geestelijke Gezondheid, Community Service en Huiselijk Geweld, en heeft daarnaast een EHBO- en brandveiligheidstraining gevolgd.

Bij Miracles Asia combineert Max zijn expertise op het gebied van gastvrijheid met evidence-based therapie, geeft hij leiding aan een toegewijd team en ondersteunt hij het herstel van cliënten. Zijn holistische en empathische benadering maakt hem een belangrijk onderdeel van het team.

With over 19 years in addiction and mental health treatment, Diane is a seasoned counsellor holding a qualification in Integrative Counselling, with additional training in CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care. Her journey began at Focus12 Rehab in the UK—first as a client, then returning to become Service Manager.
In 2018, she moved to Thailand, founding her own private practice before joining Siam Rehab and The Dawn in senior clinical roles. She led the creation of gender-specific, trauma-informed therapy groups and helped design an accessible, lower-cost rehab program.

At Miracles Asia, Di brings a deep commitment to recovery and client empowerment. Known for her “forever-young” sense of humour and characteristically colourful wardrobe, she blends evidence-based practice with warmth, wisdom, and a contagious belief in second chances.

Ashan Holgate is a therapist and former professional footballer who is committed to helping others overcome mental health and addiction challenges. Born in the UK and now based in Thailand with his family, Ashan has combined his lived experience with professional expertise to support individuals on their journey toward healing and transformation.
After retiring from professional sport, Ashan transitioned into psychotherapy, earning his BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Counselling (BPS Accredited) graduated membership with the British Psychological Society (BPS). He has since operated his own successful private practice and holistic centre for five years before moving to Miracles Asia, a space devoted to empowering individuals to reclaim control over their minds and lives.
Ashan’s therapeutic approach integrates Gestalt Therapy, Holistic Practices and (CBT), reflecting his belief that all problems begin in the mind — and all healing begins there too. His work focuses on present-moment awareness and subconscious reprogramming, helping clients to not only understand their challenges but to reimagine and recreate their reality from within.

Having personally navigated addiction and the highs and lows of professional sport, Ashan brings authenticity, empathy, and deep understanding to his sessions. He has successfully supported clients facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction — guiding them toward resilience, clarity, and self-discovery.

Jack was born in Saigon, Vietnam and raised in Texas on a steady diet of the value of service. From joining the US Marines out of high school and serving in the first Gulf War, to his 30+ year career travelling around the world working with at-risk young people and adults through personal development and experiential education Jack brings a long history of experience in residential operations, transformational coaching, project management, and training and development. His work has taken him across the United States, Bermuda, Sweden, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Slovenia, Australia, and now Thailand.

He earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington. His is a life member of Alpha Chi National Collegiate Honor Society, past member of the American Society of Criminologists, and Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society.

Ali heeft meer dan tien jaar ervaring in verslavingsherstel. Met een achtergrond in psychologie en maatschappelijk werk, biedt Ali's expertise in menselijk gedrag en geestelijke gezondheid een solide basis voor zijn werk.

Bij Miracles Asia biedt Ali dagelijkse ondersteuning aan cliënten, voert hij één-op-één sessies uit, faciliteert hij groepstherapie en coördineert hij met therapeuten om gepersonaliseerde behandelplannen op te stellen.

Ali integreert mindfulness, fysieke activiteiten en creatieve therapieën in zijn ondersteuningsstrategieën, zodat cliënten veerkracht kunnen ontwikkelen en vreugde in het leven kunnen herontdekken. Buiten zijn werk pleit hij voor bewustzijn van geestelijke gezondheid en neemt hij deel aan voorlichtingsprogramma's om het stigma van verslaving te verminderen.

Ali Abdullall's toewijding en holistische benadering maken hem een onschatbaar lid van het Miracles Asia team, dat cliënten inspireert op weg naar een drugsvrije toekomst.

Sophia is een warm en gepassioneerd Miracles Asia teamlid. Ze volgt momenteel haar Bachelor of Arts in de psychologie aan de McGill University. Haar academische reis wordt gekenmerkt door een sterke interesse in psychopathologie en menselijk gedrag, met een bijzondere focus op geestelijke gezondheid, verslaving en rehabilitatie.

Sophia's passie voor het opbouwen van banden en het bieden van ondersteuning is duidelijk in haar rol bij Miracles Asia. Ze deelt haar academische kennis in verschillende groepssessies met residentiële cliënten en biedt oprechte steun en waardevolle begeleiding tijdens hun herstelproces. Sophia verbetert ook aanzienlijk de online aanwezigheid van de faciliteit en verbindt zich met de internationale gemeenschap door haar vaardigheden op het gebied van social media management.

Sophia's toewijding aan het begrijpen en verbeteren van de geestelijke gezondheid en haar meelevende aanpak maken haar een onschatbaar lid van het Miracles Asia team.

Sweet komt oorspronkelijk uit de Filippijnen en heeft uitgebreide ervaring in ziekenhuizen en verslavingszorg. Ze begon haar carrière op afdelingen Intensive Care, Spoedeisende Hulp en Afdelingen.

In 2013 stapte ze over naar DARA in Thailand, waar ze werkte als Nurse Counselor en later als Senior Nurse Administrator, waar ze een sterke band opbouwde met patiënten en personeel.

Bij Miracles Asia combineert Sweet haar medische expertise met haar toewijding om cliënten te helpen op hun herstelreis. Haar kalme houding zorgt ervoor dat alle cliënten uitzonderlijke ondersteuning en zorg krijgen.

Emmet Corbett brings extensive experience supporting individuals affected by trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges. He began his career in youth work, supporting young people in post-conflict communities in Ireland, before moving into roles within homelessness and addiction recovery services.
Before joining Miracles Asia, Emmet served as a psychosocial facilitator at Ireland’s largest male-only accommodation center for international protection applicants, where he helped establish the country’s first in-house trauma-informed welfare team. He also trained staff in
trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practice. Emmet holds an Honours Degree in Social and Community Development and a Postgraduate Certificate in Trauma-Informed Care, and he is currently completing an MSc in Psychology. At Miracles Asia, he facilitates group and individual development sessions using a psychosocial and experiential approach to promote growth, connection, and self-awareness
in recovery.

John zal waarschijnlijk je eerste contact zijn bij Miracles Asia & hij zal je helpen met alle aspecten van je toelating tot het programma. Zijn achtergrond is onder andere radio-omroeper in Nieuw-Zeeland voordat hij verhuisde naar de Gold Coast in Australië, waar hij zijn eigen tv-bedrijf runde voor meerdere jaren.

Nu gevestigd in Phuket, geniet John regelmatig van oceaanzwemmen, en blijft actief in nationale zwemwedstrijden thuis in Australië. Hij heeft een passie voor het helpen van mensen uit alle delen van de wereld om een beter leven op te bouwen en hun doelen te bereiken.

John gelooft in een houding van wat er ook nodig is met empathie, verlangen en toewijding.
